SATCHEL JONES DEF. SIMON G MONEY

Simon seemed to be less interested in his usual antics and was more focussed on the task at hand after being humilated back at Double Dropkick. However, Satchel Jones who has faced Simon many times in the past, was on top form and took the fight to him. Despite a few close calls, Satchel came out on top and felled "Llama Legs" in the first round.

ALAN SHAW  DEF. HYBRID

Hybrids size, power and striking prowess was on full display in an impressive performance, however it would be the King of the Skies that would emerge victorious after absorbing a lot of punishment. He would Join Satchel in the Main Event, with one more spot left to fill.

"The Prodigy"  wasn't there to mess around and shockingly had the "Living Nightmare" on the backfoot for much of the match, even getting out of the "Lilac Tear" and hitting a Whisper in the Wind in a surprising show of agility. By Spawn would pull out the victory and fill the 3rd spot in the finals.

BIRTLEY RUMBLE MATCH

DON BRONSON WINS

In a surprise twist, The Gentleman Thug would outlast 7 other people (including a surprise appearance from IWF GM, Strange who didn't know he was even in the match) to win the rumble and be given the opportunity to face the DCW Heavyweight Champion later in the show.

JONNY FLASHBACK DEF.  THE ADRENALINE KID w/ SYLPHERINA

The Adrenaline Kid made his Dropkick Debut with some whacky antics and shenanigans aplenty as he brought his hyperactive hijinx to the ring. Jonny Flashback wasn't deterred and handily defeat the young upstart with his trademark Elbow Drop from the top!

DCW HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
EUAN G MACKIE DEF.  DON BRONSON

Don Bronson earned this opportunity with a victory in the Birtley Rumble and he took full advantage of it. The Monarch of Ruin and the Gentleman Thug took things out of the ring and around the Marquee before the slippery sovereign was able get the upper hand. Bronson wasn't  going down without a fight and he punished the champion with his superior size and strength. Euan G Mackie picked up the victory in the end after a tight-rope facebuster, which landed Bronson by the ropes, however, Referee Ethan didn't spot his foot on the ropes and counted the 3, giving Euan the win in the record books.

3 competitors left it all in the ring during the cup final with no clear winner being detectable. All 3 men left it all in the ring, throwin caution to the wind and hitting their best shots to try and score the win quickly. A feeling of urgency persisted throughout the contest with pinfalls being broken up or iron wills showing through to kick out with miliseconds to spare. It came down to the wire, but it was the King of the Skies who retained the cup and became a 2 x Battle of Birtley Cup Champion and securing his place in the main event of DCW 7- Schools Out in July!
