DCW 14 - Battlefront 2026

SUNDAY 31st May 2026

SINGLES MATCH
JONNY FLASHBACK DEF. REGGIE BRONSON

In a match that Jonny Flashback has been after since November, he finally got his hands on Reggie Bronson after he helped injure his partner and took their DCW Double Dropkick Tag Team Championships. Reggie took a more serious approach to the match, showing that Asylum is finally getting through to him, but the Power of Love overcame once more to pick up the win with a beautiful spinebuster!
Johnny Wilson accompanied his parter to the ring and was there to celebrate. Although it begs the question, did he wish that he could have gotten his own retribution?

DCW OPENWEIGHT TITLE - NO SUBMISSIONS MATCH
SPAWN DEF . SIMON G MONEY

Simon has vowed to turn over a new leaf and once again brought a level of diginity, repsect and ability that we didn't know he had in him. The match started out quickly with a fast exchange of pins, devolved into hard hitting offence from both men and it looked like Simon may have been on the cusp of becoming champion, but Spawn locked in the crossface forcing him to tap out. Upon remembering he couldn't win the match this way, he launched a vicious punt kick into Simon's head, knocking him clean out so he could pick up the pinfall victory. Instead of leaving him laying, Spawn woke the strategist up with a splash of water to the face, but the man that woke up was fundamentally different. Simon has been checked under concussion protocol and was cleared for further competition, but he certainly seemed off afterwards.

DCW DOUBLE DROPKICK TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH

RKID & JAKUB DEF. EUAN G MACKIE & SILAS THE VIRUS

These two teams had met for the first time in duos action, but it's not the first time Euan has crossed paths with young Jakub. He seems to be intent on punishing him for refusing to join his wrestling preservation project - ARK. Or perhaps he's still trying to recruit him in some twisted way? All we know is that this match came loaded with emotions and it seemed to serve the dual purpose of furthering Silas's career in DCW. Unfortunately for them, the champions weren't there to play games and took their opponents to the limit, culminating in Euan G Mackie taking a bullet for his partner in dramatic fashion. A frog splash/shooting star press combo later and the champions retained!

DCW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE #1 CONTENDERS MATCH

FARRENHEIGHT DEF. SAM TAYLOR

Sam Taylor made his debut in dramatic fashion as he took on the Temperature Technician in a match that could have gone either way. Both men brought the fight and thrilled the audience in a spectacle of a match that closed out our first half. Farrenheight pulled out the victory in the end but it was an incredibly close call. After the match Martin Kirby congratulated both competitors and wished Sam Taylor well as he embarks on the next step in his career in the USA. He then warned Farreheight that if he was still champion after tonight, he would see him down the road...

SINGLES MATCH

OZZY DEF. JOHNNY WILSON

The Border City Bad Boy brought backup in the form of his brand new manager - Roy Storey, who professed to bring Ozzy to the next level in DCW. They started their crusade against the "Thunder" Johnny Wilson who is trying to regain his footing after returning from his injury. Tonight was still not his night as "The Personification of Greatness" was on top form and payed major dividends, helping Ozzy procure victory. After the match, Jonny Flashback (who had accompanied his partner to the ring) attempted to show some sportsmanship to Ozzy, but this seemed to upset Wilson, who shouted at Flashback before storming off. Are the former DCW Double Dropkick Tag Team Champions still on the same page?

DCW OPENWEIGHT #1 CONTENDERS MATCH

ASYLUM DEF. BIG MICK

Mick had a point to prove after asking Simon to stop helping him and let him do things on his own. But Asylum has been tasked by Miss Armstrong to take the other gold on offer here in DCW. The two bulls have never had a match together where they have pinned the other, so both men wanted to be the dominant monster. Big Mick showed off some agility that was completely unexpected and the audience in attendance really took to his side, but it wasn't enough to beat the Flat Cap Mafia's monster. One Black Hole Slam later, we had a new number one contender for the DCW Openweight Championship. The Living Nightmare will be facing "The Monster" Asylum at some point in the future...

DCW HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE MATCH
MARTIN KIRBY DEF. ALAN SHAW

Alan Shaw wanted nothing more than to bring himself back to the top of the mountain, but self doubt is creeping in. He lost the title to Silas the Virus in March, only to see his rematch snatched away when Martin Kirby cashed in his Opportunities Contract on Silas to become the new champion. Then, he didn't earn his shot at the new champion satisfactorily after Silas got himself DQ'd. So coming into this match, the King of the Skies had a lot on his mind. This morphed into aggression and desperation as the match went on and Martin Kirby's experience had him wrestling circles around the former champion. Alan even resorted to a couple of shortcuts, but in the end it wasn't enough to take his title back as Project Ego picked his spot and hit Kirby's Dreamland to pick up the win.
